Sharp AQUOS sense4 Goes Official: Power Saving with IGZO Display

Japanese brand Sharp has officially unveiled its latest smartphone – Sharp AQUOS sense4. It is a mid-range smartphone and let’s look at the details of it.

Sense4 is smaller than the sense4 Plus as both alongside sense5G are the latest devices of Sense Series from Sharp. There is no news yet on the availability and pricing during press time. It is expected to release in the Japanese market via telcos in coming months.

Sharp AQUOS sense4 Specifications and Features

On the front, AQUOS sense4 has a 5.8-inches IGZO display with 720 x 2280 pixels resolution. The front facing camera is a single 8MP f/2.0 camera that placed in the middle of water drop notch display. On the back, it has triple camera set up – 12MP f/2.0 main sensor, 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide sensor and 8MP f/2.4 sensor.

Under the hood, it is powered by 8-core Snapdragon 720G SM7125 processor and Adreno 618 GPU. The RAM memory is 4GB alongside 64GB of internal storage. A micro SD is required for further storage expansion. Regarding the software, it runs on Android 10 OS with Sharp-flavoured UI on top of it.

Standard connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and WiMAX are also equipped for it. Move on to the design, it is IPX5 and IP8X certified for water resistant as well as IP6X dust resistant. The dimensions are measure at 148.0×71.0× 8.9 mm. As for the weight, it is slightly below 180g at ~176g.  

For the battery, it has a 4,570mAh built-in battery that Sharp claims that will last up to a week. There are three colors available – black, silver and purple.
