Sharp AQUOS Sense4 Plus Goes Official: Largest AQUOS Smartphone To-Date


Japanese brand Sharp has officially unveiled its latest smartphone – Sharp AQUOS sense4 Plus. It is a mid-range smartphone and let’s look at the details of it.

Sense4 Plus is the larger sibling of sense4 and also one of the new devices among the Sense series alongside sense5G. There is no news yet on the availability and pricing during press time. It is expected to release in the Japanese market via telcos in coming months.

Sharp AQUOS sense4 Plus Specifications and Features

On the front, AQUOS sense4 Plus has a 6.7-inches IGZO display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The front facing camera is a dual punched hole camera setup – 8MP f/2.0 sensor and 2MP f/2.5 depth sensor. On the back, it has quad camera setup – 48MP f/1.8 main sensor, 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Apart from the camera bumps, the fingerprint sensor is also embedded on the rear panel.

Under the hood, it is powered by 8-core Snapdragon 720G SM7125 processor and Adreno 618 GPU. The RAM memory is 8GB alongside 128GB of internal storage. A micro SD is required for further storage expansion. Regarding the software, it runs on Android 10 OS with Sharp-flavoured UI on top of it.

Standard connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and WiMAX are also equipped for it. Move on to the design, it is IPX5 and IP8X certified for water resistant as well as IP6X dust resistant. The dimensions are measure at 166.0 × 78.0 × 8.8 mm. As for the weight, it is slightly below 200g at ~198g for a huge device that almost 7-inches.

For the battery juice, it has a 4,120mAh built in battery. There are three colors available – black, silver and purple.
