Japanese telco au has officially unveiled its latest 5G smartphone
– Sharp AQUOS sense5G SHG03. It is a mid-range smartphone with 5G connectivity
and let’s take a look at the details of it.

Sharp AQUOS Sense5G is announced by the local telco au but
there is no pricing yet during press time. The telco only confirms that this
device is coming in the Spring of next year. Since this is a telco-exclusive
device, we are unlikely to see Sharp release this AQUOS series smartphone in
the global market.

On the front, AQUOS Sense5G has a 5.8-inches water drop
notch Sharp IGZO display with FHD+ 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution. On the back,
it has triple camera setup – 12MP f/2.0 main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide f/2.4 sensor
and 8MP f/2.4 sensor. The front-facing camera is an 8MP f/2.0 sensor that
placed in the middle of water drop notch display.
Under the hood, the device is powered by 8-core Snapdragon
690 5G processor and Adreno 619L GPU. The RAM memory is 4GB pairs with 64GB of
internal storage, which can be expanded further up to 1TB. Regarding the software,
au confirms that the device will preload with Android 11 instead of Android 10
when its release in next year.
Standard connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and
WiMAX are also equipped for it. The fingerprint sensor is embedded on the home
button instead of under the display. Move on to the design, it is IPX5 and IP8X
certified for water resistant as well as IP6X dust resistant.
The dimensions are measure at 148.0 × 71.0 × 8.9 mm. The
battery power is a decent 4,570mAh battery juice. There are total of three
colors for consumer to choose from.
