In this article, we are comparing the largest iPhone to-date, iPhone 12 Pro Max and two latest flagships of Vivo – iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro.
Display
In terms of display, iPhone 12 Pro Max has a larger
display and the resolution is higher than both Vivo iQOO devices. However, the
refresh rate of both iQOO 5 and 5 Pro are higher at 120Hz. The Dot Display looks
cleaner than the Notch Display of iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Performance
IPhone 12 Pro Max is powered by the latest A14 Bionic
processor while iQOO 5 and 5 Pro are powered by the latest Snapdragon 865
processor. The Snapdragon 865 is the latest flagship from Qualcomm but it is
still behind A14 Bionic in terms of performance. The manufacturing process for
A14 Bionic is the first 5nm in the world against the 7nm of Snapdragon.
For the RAM, both iQOO devices offer 8GB and 128GB
options but Apple offers more storage options for the new iPhone 12 Pro Max.
All three devices do not support micro SD storage expansion.
iPhone 12 Pro Max runs on latest version of iOS but
iQOO devices are running on Android 10 based iQOO UI and both are expected to
receive Android 11 updates in the future. From the software update, Apple
usually offers software update for at least four years for its devices and Android
devices only receive up to 2 years.
Photography
On the camera, all three devices have triple camera
setup on the rear. However, the camera sensors on each of the device are
different. In terms of photography performance, iPhone 12 Pro Max is ahead with
the LiDAR scanner that enhanced the photo quality. Just remember, higher
megapixels do not mean better photo quality.
Battery
For charging speed, iQOO 5 Pro is ahead with 120W
charging power instead of 20W of Apple. However, only iPhone 12 Pro Max
supports wireless charging.
Outlook
For the size, iPhone 12 Pro Max is thinner but it is
also heavier than both iQOO devices. IPhone 12 Pro Max offers in four different
colors while iQOO 5 and 5 Pro only available in two colors each.

Max, then both iQOO devices are suitable for you because it has good display,

If budget is not your concern, then iPhone 12 Pro Max is your choice as almost everything of it is ahead of either iQOO 5 or iQOO 5 Pro.
