Qualcomm officially unveiled Snapdragon 750G 5G processor with AI Noise Suppression

American company Qualcomm has officially unveiled the new processor – Snapdragon 750G 5G Mobile Platform. This new processor is expected to be the successor of Snapdragon 730G and retain below Snapdragon 765G in terms of performance.

From the hardware, this Snapdragon 750G has a total of 8 Kryo 570 cores that clocked at 2.2GHz at maximum while the GPU is Adreno 619. On the RAM performance, it supports two 16-bit LPDDR4x with up to 12 GB at 2133 MHz.

In terms of display, this processor or mobile platform is able to supports display up to 1080p+ at 120 Hz refresh rate. For the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the supported formats are FastConnect 6200, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. The manufacturing process for SD750G is similar to the SD735G which is 8nm.

The SD750G is equipped with X52 modem that is similar to the SD765G. The new modem supports mmWave 5G and can reach download speed up to 3.7Gbps, which is an upgrade from 2.5Gbps from the predecessor X51 modem. Sub-6 is also on this processor and Qualcomm stated that this is a truly global 5G chipset with multiple SIMs support.

The AI Noise Suppression feature as Qualcomm claims that it can remove sounds like a baby crying or a dog barking, it will even mute sirens and jackhammers. This is definitely a great feature as many people are working from home due to the pandemic and it is hard to find a quiet place at home if family members are always around.

The first Snapdragon 750G powered smartphone is expected to launch before end of the year and Chinese company Xiaomi is said to have gained the exclusive on it. Anyhow, from the processor, it won’t be equipped on a high-end flagship but instead on a mid-ranger for the global market.
